No matter how much our current government tries to show that inflation is decreasing (by modifying the ingredients in the inflation baskets) and GDP per capita is increasing (another lie as it seems they also tricked with the calculations to make it look higher), the brutality of police force seems getting worse, especially towards those who look for their rights, protest for free education in mother tongue, increase their voice for oppressed people of the country.
It is the police and the politicians who do nothing for the "legal" injustice, so not the entire Turkish nation could be held responsible for the deteriorating social conditions of people in Turkey. Otherwise, the brutality of Kurdish people towards their own people is not less intense than the brutaility of Turkish people towards others as we might think of honour killings, domestic violence towards women and children, rival village clashes, mass killings etc... are still very common in the eastern Turkey.
I am against any kind of nationalism including Kurdish nationalism. If they gain some sort of sovereignty over their land or more rights to represent their identity and then use these privileges in order to keep their feudal social structure or to oppress the poor workers, then what is the point?
The video can be considered as one-sided as it does not show how Turkish university students are beaten by the same police forces. If there is police brutality in Turkey, it is towards everyone who wants to think out-of-box and want to make changes in spite of current government and armed forces.
