No matter what other people say about the cliches of pop music or the abuse of melancholic feelings of Turkish people, I still very much like Sezen Aksu's songs. Yes, she is the kâbe of melancholy (huh, another cliche?) The lyrics, the rhythm of the song and her deep touching voice always make me to listen to her whenever I feel sad or helpless.
I will embed some of her best songs below so that I can listen to them whenever I need. Easier than searching on youtube... I might make one for Cem Karaca, one for Ahmet Kaya and one for Grup Yorum later...
If you don't like her music, close this page and do something else...
